The Viva Voce Examination made by candidate (Ven. Dhanissara Thera) of Ph.D. in Buddhist Studies Degree Programme on 30th January 2026 from 10.30 a.m. in Nāgānanda International Institute for Buddhist Studies.
The chair of the panel was Emeritus Prof. Asanga Tilakaratne – Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies. As well as Ven. Dr. Dampe Vijitharathana Thera – Deputy Vice Chancellor and Dean of the Faculty of Buddhist Studies, Prof. Raluwe Padmasiri Thera- Department of Buddhist Philosophy, Postgraduate Institute of Pali & Buddhist Studies, Dr. D.D. Senadheera – Scientific Assistant of the Faculty of Graduate Studies, and Prof. Rangamini Werawatta – Director of the Asia Institute of Advanced Studies and the President of the Association for ICT Professionals, as members of the panel.
Also, Venerable Maha Sangha, academics, foreign and local postgraduate students participated for this occasion.
