The Presentations made by candidates of MPhil. and Ph.D. in Buddhist Studies Research Programmes on 06th November 2025 from 9.00 a.m. – 12.00 p.m. in Nāgānanda International Institute for Buddhist Studies.

The chair of the panel was Emeritus Prof. Asanga Tilakaratne – Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies. As well as Ven. Dr. Dampe Vijitharathana Thera – Deputy Vice Chancellor and Dean of the Faculty of Buddhist Studies, Dr. D.D. Senadheera – Scientific Assistant of the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Dr. Kumari Madanayaka – Head of Department of Practical Buddhism and Mr. Suneth Bandara – Head of Department of Pali and Buddhist Studies, Dr. Hasantha Samarasinghe – Lecturer (FBS) as the members of the panel.

Also, Venerable Maha Sangha, academics, foreign and local postgraduate students participated for this occasion.

These research presentations created an engaging platform for meaningful scholarly dialogue and academic exchange in the field of Buddhist Studies.
